SISJBTC meets every third Saturday at St. John’s Episcopal Church, 74 Pleasant Street in Arlington, MA from 1 p.m. - 4 p.m. from January until June; July and August are not mandatory meetings but many members meet to sit, sew and catch up on pending projects.
Usually, the first fifteen minutes is for reacquainting with other members, settling and signing in. Next, the president will discuss old and new business and the final hour is for show and tell, while you work on any unfinished projects. As long as there is someone available to lock up, many times members stay longer, continue to chat, sew and quilt.
Meetings occasionally are dedicated to the guild members holding workshop on any number of subjects such as beading and learning how to create a particular quilt block; or a new sewing or quilting techniques. Don't throw any fabric away! The Guild will accept any fabric donations.
